Diamond
Anna Omasta did a wonderful job of the narration.
A lonely man who is obviously still in love with his missing wife. In the small town in Maine where people believe he murdered his wife. Hated by all apart from one woman. A woman with her own pain.

Shattered Diamonds
A man everyone in town is convinced of murder except the sweet lady at the diner. She has never given up on him. Josie had one career in life and when her dreams are shattered she is not sure where to look. And working at the diner is defiantly not working out. Her aunt suggests she work for Alex. And a new friendship is born and the healing starts. Beware of the cliffhanger and be prepared to start book 2! I was a little concerned that Ann Omasta chose to narrate her own book, but she does a fantastic job.

Beautiful
Josie and Alex have both had heartbreak to deal with and still with no closure it feels like their lives might be on hold. I loved this storyline but gosh I have to listen to the next book ASAP. The series is “Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems” There is a cliffhanger after Shattered Diamonds so get yourself ready before you get there. The narration is great and I recommend this book.

Josie and Alex
Shattered Diamonds has such a unique and captivating storyline. Poor Alex is heartbroken over the disappearance of his wife and struggling to deal with the whole town thinking he is a murderer. Josie is the very sweet nanny of his daughter, Hannah. I love the whole story, although as I was getting closer and closer to the end, I was wondering how Alex and Josie were going to get their HEA with so many questions still unanswered. I never expected it to end in a cliffhanger. Now I see it looks like a 3-book series. I'm invested in the story now so I can't wait to go on to the next book and see how the story continues.
I was a little hesitant when I saw that the author was also the narrator but I think Ann Omasta did a great job with both writing the story and narrating it. The male voice wasn't very manly but, other than that, it was very well done. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
