About this listen

In a small town teetering on the brink of collapse, will one woman's arrival seal a factory’s fate or open the floodgate for love and redemption?

Elle Robinson's world is literally swept away when a raging flood sends her car careening toward certain doom, only to be rescued by Angela Lane – a spirited, self-reliant, and unexpected savior who pulls Elle back from the edge of calamity.

In the aftermath of their brush with mortality, passions ignite between the two women, mirroring the uncontrollable rise of the floodwaters. However, fate has a wicked sense of humor.

As the storm of their one-night stand recedes, a startling revelation emerges. Angie learns that Elle is the ambitious young business consultant whose arrival could signal the demise of Angie's cherished family cheesemaking business. Will this city girl bring more destruction than the flood? Or could she evolve into an improbable partner in the revival of a venerable family business?

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Vermont, experience a love story that defies convention, challenges expectations, and may just save an entire town. Join Elle and Angie as they navigate the turbulent waters of romance, business, and self-discovery in this heartfelt contemporary romance that explores love, loyalty, and second chances.

A delightfully entertaining story!

When Markinson and MacLeod write together you know you are going to get humour, romance and some spice. “Say Cheese” brings all this in a small town setting with a host of lovely characters. Lori Prince brings the book to life with another impressively nuanced performance. This audiobook will bring a big smile to your face and a warm glow to your heart.

perfect romance

heartwarming story by two incredible people. I love the i❤️saphfic newsletter of thier visits around New England, and this encompasses that.
City girl falls for small community and helps local economy flourish.
there's a debate about narrators, AI, and voice, but in this genre there is no better storyteller than Lori Prince
a wonderful 6☆ listen of excellent writing talent.

A charming love story

Set mainly in an idyllic Vermont this is a love story to warm your heart and make you feel all is right with the world... well with Vermont anyway. It's both well written and narrated, and the cheesy puns are mostly reserved for merchandise.

Fabulous duo

I really enjoy the TB Markinson and Miranda MacLeod combination as their novels give a bit extra. Each of the books that I have 'read' give a story that goes on to deliver a bit more after many other novels would have finished and the offering in that extra is always lovely.

Vermont Romance

Fall festival, cheese production, flood, smalltown community. A bit longdrawn, but charming and predictable, just What I needed.
