Summary
Often in the deepest struggles of life, we find ourselves in a place that feels dark. For many of us, it feel like our spiritual roots are in dry ground. We can’t understand what God is doing and wonder if he even cares. There’s a troubling feeling of distance that we just can’t ignore. We long to be sure that we know what God wants from this spirit he has placed inside of us.
Roots in Dry Ground is a cry to your heart, God loves us, God provides for us, and God wants all of us to spend eternity in heaven with him! This love is really solid and provides a great navigation pointer for us in this dark world. I can relate to the place you are in; I too struggled with this dilemma, but this dilemma is shear torment that I find is beyond my means of understanding; my understanding as an adult, no longer a child. If we have a heart to learn and a willingness to follow the example of children, their divine attributes can hold a key to unlocking our own spiritual growth. Our father in Heaven, in his great wisdom and love, sends his spirit in sons and daughters to this earth as children. They come to families as precious gifts with a divine nature and destiny. Our Heavenly father knows children are a key to helping us become like him. There is so much we can learn from the spirit of children! As you go forth, be aware that when you have accepted the Lord as your personal savior, you are saved in Jesus name and you are ready to till any dry ground that may have created doubt. Your spiritual roots are free, no longer in dry ground. I will “grow secure in Jesus” from this point. So, ask yourself, As a child was I truly taught to be a child of God? Continue on to be sure!
