A great book in the series
This is the second book in the series I’ve listened to and it’s as good as the first. The narration is smooth and easy to listen to and the story is a gripping legal thriller. I can’t wait to read more in the series.

Captivating narration
The engrossing voice transports listeners to an exciting legal thriller. The plot is vividly brought to life by the voice actor, who uses an intriguing and suspenseful tone. The suspense and complexity of Maya Hartwell's journey are expertly described in the narration, allowing your imagination to vividly picture the moments as you listen. It's a hard audiobook to put down because you won't want to leave the gripping world of courtroom drama and intrigue. The voice actor's performance improves the entire effect, giving you the impression that you're right there with Maya as she unearths the truth and pursues justice. It's a great performance that lifts the narrative and captures your attention from beginning to end.

Very enjoyable thriller highly recommended
This is a sequel to the first audio but the reader does not need to have read the first book. i go the audio for travelling. The character Maya is a strong character driven by justice. The book contains many twists and turns which will keep the reader enthralled. It is a real page-turner. The writer has some pleasant turns of phrases such as "standing on six in spikes" which paint a vivid picture of standing in heels. Many sequels disappoint, and this one does not. Recommended listening.
