About this listen

A Reaper who doesn’t reap is like a custard donut without the custard. Pointless.

Between getting my ass kicked by Azazel in the training room, avoiding Conah, and verbally sparing with Mal, I’m beginning to get a feel for what it means to be a Dominus Reaper.

The guys might not think I’m ready to get out and do my job, but I have a team of reapers relying on me, and I’m not about to let them down.

Leadership? No problem.

Teamwork? Bring it.

It’s time to jump into the fray.

While the guys track the Dread who attacked the Academy, I’m forced to work alongside Grayson, the Regency pack alpha, to investigate a missing persons case involving vamps.

The alpha is stubborn, bossy, arrogant, and sexy as hell. I’m torn between kissing him and punching him. But when he’s taken by the bloodsuckers, there’s no doubt in my mind that I need to get him back. Even if it means venturing into forbidden territory to do it.

Death awaits with fangs and claws, but I’ll be damned if I let it walk all over me.

Here’s to hoping I keep my head.

More action, more secrets revealed

This is book 2 in the series and is fast paced. Serafina is settling into her role as a Domenius, and is ready to pull her weight, the others, however keep treating her like a defenseless human.
We find out a lot more about how the world works and why it is split up the way it is.
Fee can't help but be attracted to all the guys (it did get a little too much with every interaction), but so far nothing has gone too far.
She finds out more about herself, which puts her in even more danger, but nothing seems to get her down, only make her more determined to fight. Especially when someone is in trouble.
The guys are still keeping secrets, but it's all starting to come out.
Cliffhanger at the end, but I can't wait to see how the next book plays out.
The narration was good, really helped keep me immersed in the story. I liked the touch of a male voice for the guys POV too.

Fantastic series

This is the second book, in which is shaping up to be a fantastic series. We learn more about Fee and Cora's past together. Fee has a steep learning curve if she is to fulfill her duties as a Dominus reaper. She understands more about her fellow Dominus reapers and has to deal with all the secrets they are keeping from her. The plot has lots of twists and turns. I look forward to the rest of this series, the narration is excellent .

Fantastic sequel

I love this series by Debbie Cassidy, it’s one of my favourite of hers and I love how well the narrator brings these characters to life. She has such a wonderful voice and adds the right amount of snark, sass and humour to all the characters with enough differentiation that they all sound different. I can’t wait to hear book 3!

Excellent continuation

The story continues where book one left off and poor Fee is trying to learn more about what she is, but there is more to learn and the males are not telling her everything. There is so much going on, lots of drama excitement and action. I love the world building, and it’s beautifully paced to keep you engaged and interested, I really am enjoying the storyline and characters. It is beautifully narrated with a great tone of voice and well paced, the narrator really brings this amazing story to life, I cannot wait for book three
