Be prepared to learn some cool stuff
I had never even heard of rainwater harvesting till I came across this little hidden gem of a book. Its cover basically drew me to it and then the cool topic had me even more intrigued. If like me you have no idea chapter 1 will give you a great explanation of what it is and the benefits of this technique. As the book progresses it will teach you the methods of how to go about it and its many benefits. I guess for the beginner chapter 5 with the guidelines and best practices will be very useful. It's like a high-level overview. The narration is fantastic and professional and you can tell the author really knows his topic. If you are looking for a new and unusual hobby then this book is definitely for you

As I and my partner are trying to be sustainable as much as we can and we just moved into our new home we really wanted our own Rainwater Harvesting system.
This Guide helped us big time on how and where to start to build out this amazing Sustainable water supply to our new home! We didn't really want to hire anyone from outside but for some very technical things, we needed to talk to a company for some help. Thanks to this high-quality audiobook we saved time and a load of money plus mistakes so this content is Highly recommended for whoever wants to build out their own Rainwater Harvesting system.

Informative and relatable
Rainwater Harvesting for Your Homestead: Rain water does have it economic, geographic and agricultural benefits but it is debatable. I do relate with rain water harvesting as growing up in underdeveloped society it was a common practice and no one thought anything bad of it in my community as well as the older societies, But by time I was in my teens the practice had evolved. This book shares the reason and these reasons I agree strongly with because by the time I got into college I knew I was one of the lucky kids that didn`t end up with a stomach bug that can be deadly. Rain water spread diseases and can make one ill. But if you chose to harvest rain water, with no health restrictions where you live then you need to read this book to keep you and your family safe. Great read!

Handy knowledge!
For years I rented a house supplied by rain water and didn't have a clue as to how it actually worked. Now that I've listened to this highly informative and pertinent book, I feel confident that I possess enough knowledge to dive into this project - designing and creating a way to harvest rain water for my new home. Never did I think I would one day be able to instal my own system, yet here we are! If you are planning to build a house, there is no doubt you'll want to keep this one in your library. So grateful I came across this listen.

Getting closer to the homestead dream
I'm living in rural Portugal and have been inspired by the cheap land prices to start my own off the grid homestead. But there is so much to consider! I tried to buy a book on homestead but was overwhelmed so I'm enjoying looking at things one step at a time. I want to have a greenhouse and raised beds and grow my own food (a separate book) and I know that the rainwater harvesting is a crucial part. This audiobook not only gave me some great ideas for my homestead but also made me think about the legal part of RWH which I had never considered.

Interesting insights
I needed a guide in harvesting rainwater in my house, as I do love to save money where necessary, and rainwater is free :-)
This book offers the basics of rainwater harvesting and presented me with a complete beginner-friendly guide that helped me design, construct, and install a rainwater harvesting system using rain barrels and cisterns.
I was able to equip my house, and I am anxiously waiting for the next rain; now that spring is around the corner, I can use the water in the garden and save some money.
It's a really intensive, easy-to-listen, and well-narrated book.
The book's narration was pleasant to listen to. The content, as discussed above, was adequate.

All you need to know about RWH
This book is thorough - covering topics like why rainwater harvesting is important, the legal aspects of it, its principles and how to prepare your landscaping for it. It's meant to help you take a wide principle and customize it to your needs, which is what I found very pleasant about this book. I also enjoyed the fact that the author talks about safety, maintenance and the quality of water. This is really a one-stop shop for anyone who wants to learn about RWH.
