Superb!
Wonderful performances of great stories! I’m late to Hornung but he’s become a real favourite.

Fantastic
Loved this production I had no idea it was recorded in the mid-1980s the characters are spot-on , the whole presentation captures the atmosphere of the time in which it was set & the voices are so English it’s unexpectedly funny at times. Listened to it in the car on the way home from work over several sessions really enjoyed it 10 out of 10 .

Jolly entertaining antidote to Sherlock Holmes
Raffles the gentleman thief and his friend Bunny Manders get into a series of tight scrapes and always come out better off. Really enjoyed this and the performance is really good.

Nostalgic Listen
If you can ignore (temporarily) the arrogance and snobbery of empire, it is entertainment of a different era. Mildly derivative stories (by the brother-in-law of Conan Doyle - though some influence clearly passed the other way) converted to entertaining BBC Radio Plays. Enjoyable but not to be taken too seriously - worth a listen.

Enjoyable nonsense.
It's all very silly and improbable, and it gets a little repetitive, but it's fun and untaxing.
