Supporting your Tween Daughter
I just finished listening to Puberty from Tween Girls: Aged 8 - 12. This book was adorable and supportive of your tween daughter. The first thing that stands out is parent-daughter bonding. Open communication can strengthen your relationship during these tween years. The guide will help your tween travel through puberty with understanding and confidence. The topics covered in this book would be body changes, menstruation, and emotional ups and downs—many tips in the book about hygiene, nutrition, and exercise. Always use positive language to assure them that what they are experiencing is healthy and normal. I highly recommend this book for parents and tweens!

Important information for girls and parents
Having raised a daughter, I know that this is important information for pre-teen girls. I also know that age 8 may be too early for this conversation; however, I would highly recommend this for 10 to 11 year old girls. The emphasis on relationships, emotions, and the physical changes from this audio book is well balanced. Too often books focus only on the biology, but emotions and changes in friendships can be far more challenging for girls to go through, so this book is a great resource. I also appreciate that there is a chapter dedicated to parents and how to help their pre-teen daughters.

Valuable information
I wish I had a book like this to share with my daughter. She's now 18, and while I feel like I covered most of the important topics, I realized throughout the book that there were many topics I missed out on talking to her about. Being a tween is difficult and in this day in age, it's so different than when I grew up. We didn't have the technology piece to be worried about. There is so much they see through social media that is just in their face that shapes their opinions of themselves and their bodies, so I like that the book helps to address those issues. Great book and I hope many more moms grab this book to share with their tweens.
