Summary
What could possibly be in Longbourn Crater that was worth their while? When damage to his ship forces Captain Darcy to land in an unexpected location on an alien world, he's not prepared for what he finds. He expected aliens, certainly, but he didn't expect a contingent of humans related to Earth's most notorious traitor, or for those humans to be his crew’s only chance to repair their ship and complete their mission. Brilliant and beautiful, the human women they meet seem poised to do more harm than good.
Elizabeth Bennet may have been raised on an alien world, but she knows enough about human men to recognize a snub when confronted with one. She definitely has no time for supercilious captains who view her father as a traitor to humankind, but she’s more than happy to apply her considerable skills to repairing the Earth humans’ ship. The sooner they’re off her planet, the better.
Pride & Prejudice and Planets is an alternate-reality science fiction variation on Jane Austen’s classic Pride & Prejudice. Discover how Captain Darcy, Elizabeth Bennet, and all their usual companions negotiate alien races, dangerous space travel, and each other.

Brilliant narration.
What a unique book! The worldbuilding is fantastic, the characters are wonderful, the story is very entertaining, and the narration by Benjamin Fife is absolutely brilliant.
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

Very different but lots of fun!
I don't read much sci-fi and I've never seen a space version of Pride and Prejudice, but this was endlessly inventive and very enjoyable. I hope they will adapt more Austen novels to this universe. Narration was good too.

The author duo delivers once again
Let me first admit, that I have read several of this author duo books, all of which I have enjoyed.
So I was very happy, when I won this audio book in a draw on Facebook. So I am a little biased.
I admire the authors dedication to building an entire sci-fi universe and I really enjoyed the story.
Many of the characters in this version are much better version of themselves, than in the original Pride and Prejudice. Bingley is much more capable and who would have thought, he could write such long and detailed reports on other species and worlds. Louisa and Hursts are also quite capable and likable. Lydia is not thinking only thinking of flirting and Jane has a solid career and is a good author and excellent cook.
Elizabeth is kick ass mechanic of spaceships and have a stellar university degree and is following in her father’s footsteps.
Only Caroline Bingley and Wickham are true villains, for some of those are essential to a good story. Even Catherine de Bourgh has a lot of redeeming qualities, though she is still as domineering as ever.
So if you like both sci-fi and Pride and Prejudice, I think, you will love this story. If you only love Pride and Prejudice, then you might love story quite so much
