Summary

Essie and Farrendel are living their happily ever after…until Farrendel’s greatest secret leaks to the Escarlish press.

With his reputation set to be forever ruined, they race to do damage control. Yet an even greater danger lurks behind the leak, threatening more than just Farrendel’s reputation.

To save his brother-in-law and rescue the alliance, Prince Edmund of Escarland proposes a fake courtship to Jalissa, the elf princess who has broken his heart not once, but twice, even if she doesn’t know it.

Edmund and Jalissa struggle to unravel the conspiracy, save Farrendel, and attempt to keep their fake romance from becoming all too real. It might be more than this spy prince and elf princess can handle.

Uh oh, a little surprise in store.

Oh my god, this book was amazing. Whilst my favourite pair will always be Ferendel and Essie, which in this book was both beautiful and absolutely hilarious moments. Edmond and Jilessa are such a sweet pairing, I love Edmonds personality. His secrecy with all the spy related stuff really shows in this book, and honestly I enjoyed that so much. The way him and Jilessa were with each other, wow I don't think I've laughed so much at a book. This has so much going on storyline wise, that it kept me glued from beginning to end. All of the characters have come along way since the first book, they have all grown for the better whilst still keeping some of their less favourable traits. This series is incredibly well written and just as beautifully narrated, it's a collection I have in paperback and ebook format. I really can't wait for the next book, I'm a huge fan of this series.

I received this audiobook free from the author, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
