About this listen

The stakes have never been higher. Shelby must save the man she loves… or die trying.

A simple search-and-rescue mission sends Shelby into the woods, where she stumbles on a long-dead secret. Add a spur-of-the-moment trip to San Francisco that goes horribly wrong, and Shelby is in a race against time. Good thing she’s got friends who are willing to help, but even that may not be enough to save the man she loves. In a game of secrets and shadows, Shelby must trust her instincts, or lose everything.

USA TODAY and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author Colleen Helme offers a clever mix of mystery, laugh-out-loud humor, and captivating adventure in the highly acclaimed Shelby Nichols Adventure Series.

Perfect for fans of Dawn Merriman, Amanda M Lee, Wendy Wang, and Lily Harper Hart.

Fantastic!

Presumed Dead is an exciting Shelby Nichols Adventure that’s packed with murder, mystery, and intrigue! The storyline is brilliant as always as Shelby and the gang come together to catch the bad guys. As always the wonderful Wendy Tremont King brings the story to life perfectly.

You don't need to presume its good, you know it is

Wow, I really enjoyed this book. It was like three different stories all rolled up into one spellbinding adventure, that I just loved. Shelby is such a great character with her amazing gift. I love the way she uses it to help people and herself or those she loves. Eighteen books in and she is still down to earth and awesome. Of course this series wouldn't be the same without her supporting cast who are all present, although I don't think Mob Boss Joey or hitman Ramos would like me calling them supporting cast. The three cases she finds herself mixed up in all get wrapped up nicely, like only Shelby can do. All are very different but hit close to home with Chris going missing in one, her son involved in a search and rescue in another and the third one a man who owes uncle Joey money but they all involve bullets flying and Shelby putting her mind reading skills to good use. Oh and there are a few funny moments as well. I can't wait for the next book and hope Shelby and the gang have a lot more adventures to come.
Shelby's son and dog get called in when a small child goes missing in the woods. This leads to Shelhy discovering the skeleton of a teenage boy. Before she can even learn the boys name she and Chris go on a business trip to San Francisco and Chris is the one to get in over his head. Shelby calls in Mob boss uncle Joey and Ramos for help before it's to late and she has to leave her heart in San Francisco. Back home Uncle Joey needs her help collecting money from a dead man and the only way to do that is by finding out who killed him. Can she find the killer of both the teenage boy and uncle Joey's client?
I really like the narrator and am glad she is the voice of Shelby and the gang because she does such a good job of bringing them to life, that it would be criminal to have anybody else do it.

Another brilliant Shelby adventure

You've done it again Colleen Helme. So many layers to this story and brilliantly crafted together. Narrated perfectly by Wendy Tremont-King who is Shelby in my opinion.
Lots of Ramos too 😍
Shelby helps her son Josh and dog Coco on a search and rescue mission and that's only the start. Chris has to go to San Fransico and he's going to need Shelby and Uncle Joeys help in a life and death situation. So much happening in this book and as always keeps you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for the next installment.
