About this listen
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable, audiobook edition of Piranha by Clive Cussler and Jack De Burl, read by Scott Brick.
In 1902, Mt. Pelée erupted, sinking a ship carrying a German scientist on the verge of an astonishing breakthrough. More than a century later, Juan Cabrillo must tackle that scientist's legacy.
Cabrillo and the crew meticulously fake the sinking of the Oregon, but when an unknown adversary tracks them down with near deadly consequences, Cabrillo and his team struggle to retaliate against an enemy who seems to anticipate their every move.
Meanwhile, an American weapons designer has completed the scientist's work, and Cabrillo and his crew must stop one man creating the largest empire the world has ever known.

Another great story
Another great story in the series and fantastic narration as always.
Thought provoking in people with too much information and how it can lead to madness!

Another Great Adventure
Another great fast paced adventure from Juan and his crew. The historical facts in the prologue always interesting as they give the stories a good solid anchor point to build on.

Ingenious Story!
I don’t know how they come up with these ingenious, intricate. Seemingly unconnected stories! But this one, like it’s predecessors, certainly doesn’t disappoint!!
I’m also very glad that Scott B is back to narrating, the other fur on the previous story, was irritating and disappointing - he spoilt my enjoyment! Scott’s narration is superb!

My favourite Oregon Files book. A brilliant inventive story, captures you from the first word till the last. It unravels and creates a plot with imagination and originality. Faultlessly read by Scott Brick

Enthralling, Energetic & Expertly Written!
The story keeps you engaged with its ever-moving, yet endearing, style of writing. The building sense of momentum with well placed elements of comedy make you wish these books were handed to Quentin Tarantino on a platter, “coated with Teflon” so that they slid right into his movie-directing lap! The climax (as my girlfriend said) is always worth it, however the epilogue always leaves desire for more - particularly to flesh out the timelines in between the Oregon’s most intense assignments. I think this strategy would benefit characters that people understand, remember and connect with. Evoking more emotion from these printed words of Mr. Cussler & Mr. Morrison.
