It doesn't get better after four books.

I couldn't finish this one, it is simply boring, childishly written and riddled with tropes/clichè and not the good one's, he gives all of Alex's attacks Japanese name except one Icu shoto which is ice shot as if spoken by a Japanese person speaking English it grates on me as does the narrators constant mispronunciations Wi-vern chief among them, they are either idiots or it's a case of Americans bastardising the English language again, rant over.
