Summary
Passport Inc. A Dark Comedy about American Dating, is a novel about the "Passport Bros." and Passport Dating Movement in the United States. The story is told from a neutral standpoint and captures both sides of the "debate", but at heart is a well written dark comedy with witty satire. Justin Sullivan and his friends find themselves being thrown into a world where they are seeking out "better" dating options, but discover how big the world is and all it's pros and cons. The novel manages to keep it classy, while also exploring the world of dark comedy. Jerry and his brother Dillon get into the unauthorized loan shark business in the Philippines while Keisha is a self made millionaire that is unlucky with love. E.J. Wade is a military veteran who finds out his business idea has been stolen and turned on it's head, leaving his Passport Inc. Trademark useless.
Passport Inc. presents the perfect amount of comedy, satire and darkness, along with masterful 3 Act storytelling.
"That’s why I moved to Thailand. I can be free out here, unless I step on some money by accident, then all bets are off. They don’t play about their King out here. Meanwhile, in America, we make dart boards to throw at the President’s face. You want to raise my taxes, you little s!@#?, Take darts."
The story of the Rise of the Passport Bros. captured by an experienced author and storyteller from the history world. He captures the beauty and the tragedy from a non bias standpoint and manages to keep the listener either laughing, crying or trying to guess what happens next, as all of the characters play off each other like Ocean's 11.
