About this listen
Thomas O'Leary is used to being seen as "bad news". The O'Leary family doesn't have a great reputation around these parts, and by all accounts Thomas is just like them - a little rebellious, a little roguish, and a lot of trouble. No one would know that underneath that frank exterior is a devoted, faithful man with a heart of gold.
Michael Taggart may have grown up with a silver spoon, but that doesn't mean he doesn't work hard and play harder. He just has one big weakness - the need to please his family and deal with the wreckage of their outstanding drama, a pressure that's already caused him to turn away from his chance at love once before.
The Taggarts and the O'Learys have been feuding longer than anyone can remember, both families laying claim to the same stretch of land. Two families. Two men. And one legacy of scorching passion. Can these two supposed enemies move past the spark of aggression to break the feud, discover their second chance at love, and find their own happily ever after?
Carter’s Crossing is a quaint little town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where some people go to get away, others arrive to start over, and plenty just find themselves when they’re lost or broken hearted. This contemporary mpreg series is for adults only and is sure to leave you believing in the magic of true love and happily ever afters!

Lovely book
I loved listening to the book as Micheal and Thomas are caught between a family feud but they manage to sort out what happened to the deeds and come out to their families. Brilliant Narrator bringing the story to life.

A family feud!
Thomas and Michael aren’t supposed to be together. Their families have been enemies forever, fighting over land and whatnot. This is a sweet story of two men who surely belong together but their family names stand in their way. I enjoyed the secrets unveiled and how all ended up where it always should’ve been in a quaint town with wonderful characters.
The narration was good and helped with the feels of the book.

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Enjoy
I enjoyed all the books in Carters Crossing and I have loved all the characters but these two are my favourite. You don’t have to have read all the series but it does help in knowing the ‘cast’ from previous books.
