Summary

"Beautifully written...as funny as you would hope." (The Times)

Olive and Mabel: two of the internet's favorite dogs!

Andrew Cotter: one of our best-loved commentators.

Olive and Mabel are the Labradors that broke the internet. With more than 50 million views on social media, Andrew Cotter's brilliant commentaries on videos of his Labradors have resonated with dog owners and sports fans around the world, giving us all something to smile about in this most testing of years, as Olive and Mabel entertained us with their dinner contest, Game of Bones, Zoom meeting, online dating, and more over the last six months.

Now, in Olive, Mabel & Me, Andrew tells the heart-warming story of life with his two famous Labradors. This is the full story of their unexpected rise to internet stardom, their lives together, how the dogs are dealing with their newfound fame (celebrity fans, more offers of biscuits, etc.), and how trips to the beaches and the mountains help them all find peace and happiness away from a hectic world.

Above all, Olive, Mabel & Me is a book about the love we have for our dogs and the companionship and joy they bring and about how we can all benefit from being just a little bit more Labrador!

Brilliantly observed, touching, and laugh-out-loud funny, Olive, Mabel & Me is a treat for dog lovers everywhere.

Drinking my tears

I absolutely loved this book. I was gifted a hard copy at Christmas. Read it in jig time. Laughed uncontrollably many, many, many times.
When I saw it was available on Audible, I justified getting another version of it as I love Andrew Cotter’s voice.
Listened to the whole book in one sitting. Whilst out on my walk, I attracted many strange looks. I was laughing like a lunatic.
Even though I had read the book, there are so many funny anecdotes that they snuck up on me and I found myself howling.
Andrew writes beautifully. His love and adoration of Olive and Mabel (and Vice Versa) is plain as day.
The book exceeded my expectations.

A perfect book for the soul

Apart from being a wonderful book for dog- lovers, this is the perfect book for anyone feeling the need for a wind- down. It brings all the beauty of Olive and Mabel into a wider perspective and reflects on the joys of life with them.
Andrew Cotter's narration is glorious, and enhances the tale he tells. The love and adoration he has for his very good dogs is clear in every word he speaks and this is a book that certainly merits another listen... and another... and another...

Soothing easy listening for dog lovers.

An insightful, easy listening, dry whit funny take on life with dogs.
A fan of Andrews from golf magazine articles anyway and a huge fan of his dogs I knew this would be a great listen.
His dry humour and intellectual take on life resonated with me and is a thoroughly enjoyable easy listen.
Plus if you didn't have a dog before you will certainly want one after this.
