About this listen
What happens when a prickly travel journalist falls for his fake boyfriend?
Oscar Moore has two problems. One, he’s accidentally managed to convince his boss, the legendary editor of The Traveller, that he has a boyfriend. And two, he now has to persuade photographer and casual acquaintance, Ilias Verrati, to play along for a weeklong couples retreat in Hawaii.
Ilias is full of sass and sunshine, but his constant flirting grates on Oscar. Unfortunately, unless Oscar wants to confess and risk his job, he has to keep up the ruse. He can manage a week, and if he can pull this off, then editorial glory awaits.
Oscar and Ilias both have their own reasons for avoiding relationships—even if they desperately want one—and their work makes finding love even more difficult, but maybe a fake relationship is just what they need to give them a nudge in the right direction.
Under the Hawaiian sun, Oscar discovers there’s more to Ilias than meets the eye. But before Ilias will risk his heart, Oscar will have to find a way to open it.
Oh So Oscar is a 78,000-word, contemporary MM romance featuring fake dating, luxurious hotel rooms, stargazing, and delicious food. It also contains discussions of grief including the past loss of a parent and the past loss of a partner.

Love these two so much
This was a reread for me and againDan had me falling deeper for Ilias and Oscar
I love grumpy oscar and the ray of sunshine that is Ilias. Ilias is full is sass and banter and he is understanding if Oscars Demi sexuality. I enjoyed seeing them fall in love on their adventures.
This book isn’t as spicy as the others in the series but I found this very fitting to Oscar’s personality.
As always I loved the cameos for Oscar’s family and found this to be a perfect ending for the series

illias was the sunshine to Oscar's grump and the places they visited were so idyllic

The First Person He Thought Of.
MM, Fake Relationship, Close Proximity, Contemporary, Romance. The third book in the series and although each book features a different couple characters from previous books feature quite a lot so I recommend reading in series order for maximum enjoyment and full understanding of who's who and what's what. A great story with an overall light and sweet with wit and heat theme, I thoroughly enjoyed their story and loved Dan Calley's narration. Guaranteed HEA.

I enjoyed the romance, it was sweet and beautiful with cameos that made things even better. I really enjoyed the narration, I find him easy to listen to and enjoyed the story, both as much as previously and a little more because of this media. I would def recommend

Oh, Oscar… the ever elusive brother!
He’s been on the fringes of the family gatherings in the previous books, because being a travel journalist he was mostly absent. But now that we get to have his story, we also know that family dynamics are difficult for him, for…reasons.
He’s reserved and kind of grumpy, with a prickly exterior than, when punctured and then stripped off by sunshine-y Ilias, reveals a heart of gold underneath!
Ilias has his own secrets and his own baggage, and has sort of limited himself to a life of casual acquaintances and hook-ups, focusing instead on his career and dealing with his large over-dramatic family, but he didn’t count on someone like Oscar to burrow under his skin and take a permanent residence in his heart!
Lovely audiobook, not too much angst but lots of emotions and the right amount of spice and banter to make it the perfect package!
