Bad narrator
The narrative is very bad. She tries to pronounce every word correctly which results in long pauses and discountiuty of sentences. The book itself mostly pictures the family tree of North gods rather than describing the North mythology. I was not satisfied with this book.

tørr
opplesning er litt for firkantet og det er lett å hoppe av historiefortellingen .

Interesting but the narrator is AWFUL
Oh dear me, this is a good book, however what let’s it down massively is the narrator. She sounds like a computer. Dreadful! I had to turn the book off because I couldn’t listen to her past chapter 1 which is a shame because it’s a good book.

Awful narrator, could not finish.
I had to push myself to recognize many of the common words.
Really bad accent, barely understandable.
I am very sad, really wanted to listen to this.

Lack of suitable words
The narration... Is absolutely terrible. Both english and norse words are pronounced in annoying and wrong ways. I struggled to finish it because of this. The book it self is not totaly bad. But the narration ruined it for me.

Disappointing!!!
I really like the author's work but this was such a disappointment. I loved myths and legends as a child, especially the Norse ones, and hadn't read a collection of Norse stories for many years. So I was really looking forward to one of my favourite set of myths being retold by one of my favourite authors.

Nothing really to see here
I'd recommend this book to anyone who hasn't read any Norse myths. Its an adequate introduction. Otherwise, there's no real point in bothering.

Absurd choice for narrator.
The content itself is good - Covering quite a large array of topics. This though is pretty much ruined by the narrator. I can't quite comprehend how this publisher thought that this narrator was remotely suitable for narrating this work. I've never been so frustrated with an audiobook - You have to put a significant amount of effort into actually understanding what this narrator is saying most of the time, with mispronunciations abound and, as others have stated, long pauses before she pronounces many words. I have unfortunately had to completely abandon this work and bought the book to read directly.
