Summary

The second book of short stories featuring supernatural detective Jack Nightingale, who fights his battles in the shadows, in the grey areas where demons and monsters seek their prey, where one mistake can cost him his life - or worse.

In this collection of nine short stories, Nightingale matches wits against haunted houses, serial killers back from the dead, disturbed spirits, demon dolls and monsters from hell.

Love this series

Great story lines and fantastic narration - best I have experienced on audible - the characterisation and accents are outstanding - highly recommended.

Fantastic, I love Nightingale.

I have listened to every book Stephen Leather has wrote, with my hero Jack Nightingale.
Never disappointed, always a great story and Paul Thornley is the best narration for this character.

Cannot wait for Nightingale 3.

Good book, bad production.

I love Stephen Leathers Jack Nightingale books and Paul Thornley’s narration is, as always brilliant. It’s a shame there was bad background noise which meant you couldn’t really immerse yourself in the stories. At first I couldn’t work out where the ssshhhhhhhing noises were coming from. But it’s background ‘white noise’ I suppose. Sigh!

Jenny and Gosling Hall

great to here about Gosling Hall and hear the relationship between Nightingale and Jenny again.
Hopefully we will get a full length story soon and not more short stories. Miss Nightingale so much.

I love Jack Nightingale

It would be nice if Tennesse Nights were available through audible with Paul Thornley narrating the story.

These are 9 great spooky mysteries, involving regular characters such as T-bone, Jenny and Joshua. Worth buying and listening too.

A great set of stories

A very enjoyable set of stories, each with a nice twist or a chill. Worth a second listen some time.

Another great collection

Stephen Leather has created another fine collection of short stories. Paul Thornley's narration is, as ever, a perfect fit. A delight to listen to.
