Summary

Viktor Kösling ist gewohnt, den Erwartungen anderer gerecht zu werden. In einem Hochgefühl von Freiheit verliebt er sich in das hübsche Zimmermädchen Thilde - und hat die Rechnung doch ohne seinen Vater gemacht: Ein Telegramm aus dem Ministerium schickt ihn vorzeitig ins Ausland.
