Summary
Nanovax was supposed to be our salvation.
Death and disease, now obsolete.
Until the terrorist attack. Fifteen cities in a single day.
Again, they said Nanovax was the answer.
The same technology meant to heal us could now be used, through an algorithm, to track us, to predict human behaviors...
To thwart future terrorists.
I'm Lieutenant Brian Goff. I received the first injection.
It healed my wounds in the war. I became the face of Nanovax...
Then, the algorithm identified me as a threat...a terrorist...
Now, I'm on the run and fighting against the very technology that once saved my life...and if that wasn't frightening enough...
The government has my daughter.
Algorithm is the first book in Theophilus Monroe's Nanoverse, an action-packed dystopian sci-fi thriller series. As a former soldier suffering from PTSD, Brian Goff is not only a threat to the new system, but his very injury has given him control over the nanobots. Like Neo in The Matrix, Goff is an unlikely hero whose "technomagic" makes him the the last hope for human liberty, freedom, and justice.

Thrilling from start to end
Thrilling from start to end
Brian Goff is a retired Marine who received the very first dose of Nanovax when he was badly injured in war and became the ‘face’ of the vaccine which stops people getting sick and causes them to live longer.
An algorithm is created which will make the nanobots in the vaccine show if a person will do terrorist acts.
One day, whilst in the park with his daughter, Brian has a PTSD attack, which triggers the algorithm. He is then incapacitated and detained for terrorist activites.
Before the authorities can get to him, the resistance picks him up and gives him an inhibitor which blocks the nanobots from connecting with the nanoverse.
What follows is a fast paced journey to save his daughter, and then the rest of the world from the creator of the Nanovax, who wants everyone to join the nanoverse to create an idyllic world where they can do what they want, change their destinies etc.
However, all is not what it seems and Archimedes Flat evades them at all turns.
Although this is a work of fiction, what is scary about it is that it could all happen in our future - would we let one mad scientist force us to give up our bodies so we can live in utopia?
This is a fantastic series and was very well narrated by Miles Meili.

Good SciFi
I enjoyed the Nanoverse boxed set, the story and characters were well thought out, the pace was just right, and the SciFi was on message. Would definitely recommend this title.

Excellent
It was a pleasure to read another universe created by Theo. He builds strong characters and weighty steady worlds. Love and hope are central. Another delusional man thinking he knows what humanity wants and needs.

Companies with unlimited power.
What an amazing imagination the author Theophilus Monroe got and such a beautiful penmanship style which describes each of the characters perfectly.
At first I wrote a long review, now I’ve changed my mind and decided to make it short.
In a way the author sees what’s is already happening in this world so he wrote a book about a dilemma, what would you choose, living as a god in virtual reality immortal eventually boredom and depression will get you or continue in your human body sometimes sad sometimes glad , happy and in love .
This slowly is already happening and the real question is will we even have a choice ?
Narration by Miles Meili is beautifully done for each of the characters in this series.
My full recommendations !!!
Oded Ostfeld.
