Summary
Gamer vs Player.
Some girls have a dream guy, but Suzie's ideal boyfriend is totally real. He’s just...virtual.
Suzie doesn't need to see her online gaming buddy to know that he’s her perfect match. The problem lies in reality, AKA high school. Ever since a humiliating photo of her surfaced on the first day of senior year, she hasn't been able to escape the attention of Luke Warner, the hottie player who's apparently made it his mission to annoy her. Now that they're paired together in a programming contest there's no way she can avoid him...or their chemistry. His unexpected kisses might be earth shattering, but he’s so not her type.
Luke's got a secret, and it's one that could change everything between him and his new computer science partner. Suzie thinks he doesn’t know her at all, and she seems convinced that she doesn’t like him. But what if she knew that he was her online BFF? That would change everything. But will sharing his secret bring them together or tear them apart?

enjoyable
This book had an engaging storyline, well written characters and great narration. It was a lot of fun to listen to, and helped the hours go by that much quicker. This is such a great book to listen to pass the time.

I enjoyed this
The second in the Geeks Gone Wild series focusing on Suzie and Luke, Suzie is the geek and Luke is very popular at school, unbeknown to either of them, they are online gaming buddies, they tell each other their deepest darkest secrets. In the real world though Luke is always annoying Suzie and has done since the social media witch hunt. They end up as computer science partners and Luke realises that Suzie is his online BFF. What will happen when she finds out, considering she hates him.
This was another fluffy, high school enemy to lovers theme, will they, won’t they? It was cute and enjoyable with a HEA.

Cute YA listen
Totally on me for not reading the fine print, I didn’t realize this was YA. But even so it was so cute and sweet. I loved how the hero worked to prove himself but he definitely acted like a high schooler which I appreciate instead of a 18 year old acting like he was 20. Very cute and fun listen.

Geeks Gone Wild Book Two
Geeks Gone Wild Book Two.
Suzie is almost a senior. However, just before she begins her final year in high school, her stupid brother dared her to do a keg stand and her own friend entered the photo of that moment into the senior slideshow! Now, Luke is everywhere she turns - taunting her and teasing her to no end. She withdraws from her real life into her video games and the virtual friend who has caught her interest. When Luke realizes Suzie is actually the girl he's been chatting with for months, he doesn't know how to react. This Suzie is witty and spicy, but at school she is shy and nice. He is determined to draw out the online Suzie and show her that they should be together.
If you're looking for a fun high school romance with video games and teen angst, this is the book for you.

My favourite of the series so far.
Lauren Fortgang and Graham Halstead were wonderful narrators for this story. I enjoyed their performances.
Suzie had a terrible start to her senior year and hated that since the first day Luke had done nothing but mock her. So when he turned up at her computer science club wanting to work with her on new mods for the game that she loved she was hesitant. On the game Luke and Suzie were best friends, but only Luke knew that. He had to work hard to gain her trust in real life so that he didn’t lose the person who meant the most to him in the world.
Such a lovely story with a strong plot and characters that I could fall in love with.

Second in series
It would be better to start with the first book in the series as the events and characters from Love at First Fight factor heavily into this story as well. It's essentially a continuation of the same story without any cliffhanger endings between the books. It does give some context when the events are mentioned, but you would get a lot more out of this story if you've read the first.
As with the first book, I liked the dual narrators for the dual points of view. Overall, I liked the story but it the event seemed a little more typical of other high school stories when compared to the first book. (The unexpected response to the bullying was my favorite part of the first book.)

I love the geeks!
This series is just so much fun, I am loving it! Maggie Dallen can pick a trope, find that memory in my heart from high school and let me live it all over again in her humorous and lovable style! This is book 2 of the Geeks Gone Wild series and it gives us Suzie and Luke's story. Now me being a person who is online a lot, I can vouch for having friends, so when Suzie and Luke ended up playing the same video game under pseudonyms, I automatically fell for this story. Now the catch. Luke is a jock, but does have some nerdy tendencies. Suzie is one of the people really effected by the Geeks Gone Wild practical joke. Can these two really find their way to happiness? Dallen has crafted this story of jock falls for nerd in a contemporary setting, and had me laughing out loud at the antics at times. I love the characters, the struggles of finding that comfortable path in high school and fell for this couple. Luke especially intrigued me with his dual interests, since so many times, the jock never lets us know anything deeper than the game. It's fun, flirty, interesting and just a good time listen.
Narrated by Graham Halstead and Lauren Fortgang, we have incredible new adult sounds and a team that really compliments each other. They found that rhythm and made the characters real and believable. Together they have great comedic timing and I enjoyed the listen immensely.

So enjoyable and sweet with great narration
Lauren Fortgang and Graham Halstead do a brilliant job with this story. I love the fact that I kind of tuned out and just got completely sucked into what was going on.
I just love this series so much. The characters are great and I get so sucked in to what is going on. I loved the setting and the computer element of it all, it just made me chuckle so very much. Such a sweet and enjoyable story. I hope there is another in this series.
