MY COOKERY BOOKS by ELIZABETH ROBINS PENNELL HOUGHTON MIFFLIN COMPANY 1903.
Narrated by Joseph Tabler
The book is in three sections.
Elizabeth Robins Pennell (February 21, 1855 - February 7, 1936) was an American writer who, for most of her adult life, made her home in London. A researcher summed her up in work published in 2000 as "an adventurous, accomplished, self-assured, well-known columnist, biographer, cookbook collector, and art critic" In addition, she wrote travelogues, mainly of European cycling voyages, and memoirs centred on her London salon. (Wikipedia)
Much of this collection eventually went to the Rare Book and Special Collections Division at the Library of Congress, where curator Leonard N. Beck gave it a professional evaluation, pairing her collection with that of food chemist Katherine Bitting. (Wikipedia).
**All historians have some bias or slant. And of course, their works were written in a different time than our own. More can be learned about this author on his—Wikipedia entry.
FYI - my French is rather bad, okay, terrible, and my other languages not much better. Please laugh and go forward (as I) shaking head rolling eyes.

Available Audio Books - The books I read for you may have a few extraneous sounds and will be imperfectly read and produced. Hopefully, you will excuse any defects, as these Old books are quite unlikely to become audio books otherwise and still have great value. Joseph Tabler. Aloha.
