Summary
Molly Murphy always knew she'd end up in trouble, just as her mother predicted. So, when she commits murder in self-defense, she flees her cherished Ireland, and her identity, for the anonymous shores of America. When she arrives in New York and sees the welcoming promise of freedom in the Statue of Liberty, Molly begins to breathe easier. Good start to a new series
Molly Murphy is a very different heroine from Georgiana Rannoch, but the two series have quite a lot in common - a light fun (if essentially unlikely) plot with a likeable and plucky heroine who somehow solves murder mysteries. Not to be taken seriously, but as a easy going holiday read, this ticks all the boxes.

Marvellous Molly !
After reading all of ThexRoyal Spyness series. I was pleased to find more books! I love Molly Murphy and am looking forward to following her story. Really enjoyed all the background information about the boat and crossing. Fast paced mystery with great narration.
