Sad books, but great
Set in the 80s, Nick Nowak PI, these are stories of his work and love life and the start of Aids. Sad, terrible but highly addictive reading /listening. Cant stop ordering the next group.

Heartbreaking but so good
Another great murder mystery with the aids crisis as a setting. The impact it has on people who lived through it is very well handled.

Wow!
Fabulous story and superb narration. Heartbreaking, it packs a powerful punch. Poor Nick. The series takes an unexpected turn.

Amazing book!
What a story!! So much going on for Nick in this and I felt every emotion that he did.
Superbly narrated by Brad Langer.
Can’t believe it took me so long to discover this fantastic series.
