General Briggs and Detective Smith, coupled with the police captain of the city, immediately commence their investigation. But just as Detective Smith identifies a motly collection of suspects and presumed murderers, the murder case takes a new turn as secrets and betrayals are revealed - which only deepens the mystery of the killer's identity.
