Summary

Moons & Runes: Legacy is a story of friendship and caring across both the mundane and the spiritual worlds, with a healthy sprinkling of psychic abilities, witchcraft and paranormal mystery.

Charged with protecting her family legacy and a 400-year-old giant oak, New Age store owner, Thea Dawson, finds herself up against a plot which could destroy everything she holds dear.

Legacy is the introductory novel to the Moons & Runes Private Investigators series. It brings Thea together with her soon-to-be best friends as she uncovers her innate magical abilities. Step inside the cosy paranormal world of ‘The Pentacle’, and add your own positive energies to the mix, by joining Thea and friends as they fight to make their world a better place to live.

Moons& Runes: Legacy

This charming story draws you into the atmospheric and cosy, magical world of The Moons & Runes New Age book store and cafe: Set in an historic town with archways and cobblestones, the story of our heroine, who has been left the store by her ancestors unravels. Skillfully weaving past and present timelines, spiritual mysteries, hidden within the book store and the owner's family legacy and paranormal gifts are revealed. With an eclectic mix of believable friendly characters the story breezes along with an engaging and warm style of narration. A captivating introduction to the series!

Excellent

Excellent. Really drew me into the realm. And as a person with chronic ill health, I was really pleased to see the main character is some-one with a sister condition to me. I loved the food analogies to the fatigue status. Highly recommend.

Well worth a listen - Excellent narration

I really enjoyed this book. There are a host of quirky characters and an interwoven story of olden times and present day which I loved.

The only drawback was I found the pace at times a little slow but I think that was just because this is the first in a series so there was quite a lot of scene setting and introductions to the main characters. I am sure that the following books will be pacier

I would definitely listen to other work from Martine Cullen.

Mary Phillips, the narrator, did an excellent job with many accents for the different characters.
