Brilliant!
Any additional comments?
I loved this book, it was a truly great follow-up to the first! It seems to be dealing with the sisters in reverse order, starting with the youngest and ending with the oldest! I'm really glad we got a look into Ian's head in this book. I wasn't sure on him in Firelight as he really did paint himself is a bad light trying to steal another man's wife, though at the same time showing concern towards Archer like he was conflicted and in this book we learn why he was so unset with Archer as well as learning more about him and his past!
I found myself loving Ian as much as I loved Archer! I could see why they'd been such good friends before the incident with Victoria! Ian and Daisy were such a good match and I found myself intrigued with Talent, Ian's valet. I hope that when the sister's story's are told that prehaps the author will explore some of these secondary characters such as Talent.
It was a great story and so sad at points. They both suffered in the past and had to deal with their pasts in the book in order to move forward. I was really glad to see a reconciliation (though more implied then actually truly shown!) between Archer and Ian. I wanted those two to reconcile! Also learnt a surprising secret about Poppy and the sisters in general setting Poppy up for the next book.
