Life changing!
This book is short yet just long enough to explain some key insights to how changing your self talk can change your life. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to become more aware of their thoughts and how to edit them and more mindful of their mind.

Eye opening
I make this caveat up front, I haven't gotten all the way through this course yet. I don't normally do this, but I have a purpose in writing the review before I have completed the whole series. That purpose is in the first 2 lectures. This course is worth it if all you do is listen (carefully) to the first 2 lectures. The whole course is about using meditation as a tool, but the goal is mindfulness. If you can stand to look at yourself critically, listen to the first 2 lectures and then objectively consider where you fall on being mindful. Just the mere understanding of this concept, which is expertly explained and demonstrated, is eye opening. If you want to get more out of your life, your day-to-day existence, take 1 hour and listen to the first 2 lectures.

Its a lifestyle
Mindfullnes is a way to be more happy, the cientific formation of the instructor takes away esoteric view of these practice and adapt to the actual way of western life. Very recommended.

Life-altering
The professor knows his subject and tells his stories in a beautiful, soothing voice. I listen every night. Some of what I hear is in real-time and some is subliminal because he puts me into a satisfying, deep sleep every time. Glad I don't have to go to class because I would have my head on the desk. But during sleep is how I learn best.

A Must Read!
Loved the Book! It's a book that you will read over & over. Keeps you thinking about the NOW and also that anyone can Meditate. Each lesson was practical and easy to understand, also at times with a bit of humor. Professor Muesse was wonderful. A book everyone should read.

Yes- definitelyIt could improve a friend's quality of life; helping to deal with stress they are facing (and yes I have recommended this book to friends. It would be great if audible allowed single titles to be gifted. Or single titles to be bought without signing up for a monthly subscription, even if it is easy to cancel)

It sounds like a cliché, but it changed my life.
I bought this lecture series for help with learning to meditate. I did not find it too helpful on that front as I am a complete beginner and the lecturer did not take the sort of hand-holding approach to meditation that I feel I need.

Improved my Self-Confidence
Self-Love and Self-Care are at the root of how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. I've read a number of books on building Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence and this is probably a better book than all of them.
