I love a good urban fantasy, I don't normally like the government agency angle but this is actually pretty great.

Quite a suprise.
This book was surprisingly good. I don't mean that as a backhanded compliment, I have been going through a dry spell of decent books. The sex scenes in this book were not fade to black and they were not excessive but well executed. The story itself is well paced and the characters were not 2d at all.
I will definitely keep my eye out for the sequel.
Narration was very good. Very, very good. I have not had the chance to listen to this narrator before .

Interesting
A very interesting take on the supernatural and its interaction with the mundane world. Magic being a type of addiction is a new take for me. Pretty good start to the series.

It's just sex with mild story
There's not much in the way of story, and little to no world building, what there is is derivative and generic. It's just bulked out with sex, clearly the writer was horny the entire time they were writing this. The narration was good though.
