OK,
This is an OK book, An interesting mystery that could probably have been much better if an hour shorter, I thought it got a bit tedious toward the end. Over descriptive maybe. However it was an enjoyable listen. Jade O'Kelley's narration was very good and she helped keep the book going. Recommended.

Not for me.
I found the book overly descriptive to the point of annoyance, It's as though the author had swallowed a thesaurus. It was more flowery than a florists shop. - I mean 'behind the seven plus one ball' Really?? He uses ten words where one would suffice. The dialogue was of its time I suppose, but I'm afraid the narration was also below par for me. It was a straight read with very little characterisation. A few meaningful pauses would also have helped. Story was ok, standard mystery stuff. I think I'm being generous with 3*
