A life-changing practical ADHD workbook for men!
This workbook is simply brilliant! It's rare to find such a practical tool covering many problematic areas. I've done lots of reading about ADHD in the past to try and support my husband, but this book, along with Jimmy Taylor's Mind Mapping for Men with Adult ADHD, are the only ones I've found that talk so clearly about gender differences.
The idea behind mind maps is explained well, and the chapters cover all of the issues that I see my husband struggling with on a daily basis. The number of exercises in the book is impressive. Our approach was to listen to the whole book, then refocus on the individual chapters and pick out a few specific mind maps to work through at a time.
I highly recommend it to any other adults out there with ADHD or people who want to support them.

Helpful for understanding my Adult Child with ADHD
This has been great for me. I have had a hard time understanding my adult child who has ADHD. It made me better understand how his brain works. It helped me understand my son better and I feel like my relationship will be closer with him rather than filled with frustration.
My son who really has come a long way even found this audiobook helpful with some ideas on breaking up tasks into smaller steps.
All around this has been a great resource for my understanding and for my son to learn new tricks in dealing with his ADHD.

Extensive mind mapping exercises

Great resource!
Taylor does a wonderful job of providing tips and tricks along with the tools to help men with ADHD. This is such an important topic right now and not many resources are available to help. The topics covered include: social well being, emotional regulation , and how to handle overwhelm and much much more! My favorite chapter was about time management and analysis paralysis. This can really help in my house!

Not what I expected, in a good way!
I really enjoyed this audiobook.
Central to the idea of the book is obviously very useful mind mapping, but I also found this to be a comprehensive capture of every facet of life that you face dealing with symptoms of ADHD. From executive functioning and emotional regulation to overwhelm and time management it switches from coping with these issues to building resilience and creating healthy habits!
You can dip in and out of whichever chapter is relevant to you at the time you need it.
I'll be referring back to this all the time for help!
