Not great, boring story, the female authors breathy addition to the dialogue was wierd and a bit irritating,
All in all not worth listening to even for a light read

Narration not so good
Narration is so important - female narrator had really strange way of speaking - elongating a lot of words - very offputting - male was a bit monotone too - shame ☹️

Short and Steamy
Love this series by Lauren Blakely, the characters are hot, the scenes are steamy but there is a seriousness underlying it all that cannot be denied. the perfect combination for a story, well written, good amount of intensity, an ending as it should be. Love the narrators too who get the voices just right.

Better narrator please
Okay the story was fine. I didn't expect much but it delivered but the moany breathy female narration was nothing short than horrible!
It made the whole thing seem stupid and annoying to listen to.

The female narrators voice made this hard to listen to
Not bad story, all a bit same now but the worst thing was that female narrator ms voice! Omg! Chalkboard effect.
