The story is about a girl called Larker who goes to the Cruel school, and it is a horrible school for children. I liked the voices of the characters, especially Spod's because he sounds stupid!

I have read some other books from David Walliams. I love all of them because the children are more clever than the teachers.

I would recommend this book to my friends because it is really fun and exciting. All the children should read it if they are at least 7 years old because my brother is 6 and didn't understand.
