Summary
When Megan meets Ben Saunders, she's very attracted and he seems the same, but she didn't expect him to propose immediately. It'd be like marrying a stranger.
Only, how can she refuse when they get on so well and he goes to Australia in a week? Can they make this sudden marriage work?

A bit of a non-event
Normally a big fan of Anna Jacobs I was very disappointed in this book. At first I thought it was just a bit slow to start but on finishing it I was asking “is that it”? It didn’t really seem like a story with much content, just a really nice woman and a really nasty one, who didn’t do much. Certainly not up to AJ’s usual standard in my opinion.

A womans dream
I loved this story, a woman's fantasy to meet a handsome and rich man with power who when kisses you makes you feel.....well you know exactly how that would make you feel.

A very romantic story but the end came too quickly
Enjoyed this relaxing story but a bit easy to guess the end.’
Would have been nice to find a reason for splitting up but come back together in the end.
The narrator was good.

chic lit
I love this author's later books but if I had read this first I wouldn't have looked for her later ones which are brilliantly crafted and written. This was shallow and lacking in substance. I think Anna does so much better when her novels are set in northern England in the 19th century.

Good story
Good story as always by Anna Jacobs , but let down by the very poor narration. Please can we have a better narrator for the next book.
