Summary
Although he's told to stay, Marley digs a tunnel out of the backyard and sniffs his way to school. As he roams the halls looking for Cassie, he finds trouble instead. From wolfing down hot dogs in the cafeteria to setting free a bunch of mice in science class, Marley won't stop until he locates his best friend. This lovable and rowdy dog may not be much of an academic, but he's full of school spirit!
Packed with action and hilarious Marley bad-boy antics, this follow-up to the bes-tselling Bad Dog, Marley! and A Very Marley Christmas will leave listeners howling for more. Awooo!
Editor reviews
It turns out that John Grogan's dog "Marley" is as appealing to younger readers as he was to adult readers in the international best-seller Marley & Me. In this faithful performance of a storybook aimed at children between four and eight years of age, the lovable but disobedient dog follows Cassie to school on her first day and causes havoc in the cafeteria, the playground, the classroom…basically everywhere he can.
Though an audiobook obviously lacks pictures, Fred Berman's colorful voice makes up for the deficit. Kids will love his animated characters as well as his loud barks. Berman has won Audie Awards and AudioFile Earphone Awards (four times) for his diverse performances.
