UK Author Lisa Newton has a first class honours degree majoring in Accounting from Middlesex University and an MSc in Investment Management from City University. In the same month of graduation Lisa formed Boogles Ltd with £150. Her mum put in £50, and Lisa used £100 of her overdraft. Boogles primarily began as a bookkeeping service and has since expanded, and moved into other markets – such as bookkeeping franchise, money management masterclasses (training courses) and products such as maths books for children and accompanying maths game (available as an app on FaceBook). Lisa has personal experience of having to make the most of her money, that of her business (and through doing the accounts for others), helping them to manage and make the most of their business finances.

Good basic advice
Most chapters contained some good basic advice on handling your finances. It is however no specialisation for a specific area. You will get a basic idea of what can be done and maybe on which topic you want to dig deeper. Some advice seemed trivial to me like make sure to make more money than you spent or don't buy things only to keep up appearances.
Even though the reading is not done by a professional and a bit wonky now and then, I appreciate that the author put in the effort of offering it as an audio book. In my current living situation with working half the day and taking care of little kids on the other half this format is the one best accessible to me. Thanks for that!

Best book about managing your money
I came a cross lisa newton's books about 2014 and after 5 years later I can honestly say that my mindset about money management has changed for the better, the best advice I got from this book was that "a good mindset about money management".
lisa newton is a very talented writer and very engaging author, her narration is beautiful and best produced,
This book is one of my favourite titles in my audible library over 220 titles.

good book but amateur recording
good advice but poor audio recording, sound levels inconsistent and sections repeat by mistake. needs to be re-recorded

Sorry I didn't enjoy the narration
What would have made Make the Most of Your Money better?
Reading the book may have been better as I did not warm to the authors voice (obviously this is a personal opinion- I don't like knocking peoples work) I downloaded three of these authors books as I was interested in the subjects but the narration put me off - sorry
How could the performance have been better?
In my opinion I may have enjoyed it more if it was narrated by someone else
