Summary
Meet Lord James Harrington and his wife, Beth. They adore hosting seasonal events in the village of Cavendish, running their country hotel, keeping the local folklore alive and listening to the latest murder mystery on the wireless. But mysteries don’t always remain on the airwaves....
James and Beth are looking forward to hosting a New Year's Eve ball, but first, they are accommodating the actors of a travelling Old West show and displaying American Indian artefacts as part of that tour. When someone attempts to break into the display cabinet, James' suspicions are aroused. And, when a member of the Old West Show is found dead, he finds himself in the middle of a baffling mystery.

Completely disagree with previous review
I’ve listened to the whole series and was delighted to see a new addition, but was slightly put off by the review someone had left.
I have to say I completely disagree, this was just as good and fresh as all of the others and had a good plot. It wasn’t easy to work out the culprits and it was just a lovely chance to catch up with all the characters that feel like old freinds entwined around a thoroughly good story line.
Easy listening and a joy to listen too as always narrated so superbly by David Thorpe!
Bravo to the authoress Lynn and please continue to write more :-)

Not the best in the series
Whilst I did enjoy this book it isn't the best in the series. There are some new characters, but very few of them meant anything to me and I wasn't sure I cared who had committed the murder (although to be honest I guessed). However, old friends were there aplenty and it's always nice to catch up with them.
