Feels like an unconnected group of anecdotes

I wanted to like this book - the big idea is to encourage us all to open our minds to the potential within. However, I found that there was a lot of examples of others "living big" and in the end, it left me feeling unsure of what I needed to do, other than to feel inspired. I am always cautious about author-performers and this is a case in point: I found Pam's American English accent hard to listen to at times.

Any additional comments?

I was a little bit disappointed as Esquared is such a life changing book. It is so fun to listen to and gives lots of practictal tips to make change.
I was expecting the same from Living Big but it was not the case.
Living Big is a collection of stories with happy endings/ people changing their lives.
Pam also for some reason does not sound as upbeat or make as many jokes as she did in e squared which made it much less inspiring.
However still nice to have on in the background, very positive, Im just not sure it is as ground breaking as the personal development books that people are looking for.
