Enjoyed it, but very short!!

Am used to Jenny Colgan books being great books you can get into and know and love the characters. I was just getting into it and it ended!! I know it's part 1 of a 3 part story but it feels like I'm having to fork out for 3 books instead of one just to get an idea of the story. Also, having now read the previous two Maggie Adair books, I'm a tad confused as to why at least 2 of the characters have changed their names between books.

I really enjoyed the lead up to this

Unfortunately I didn’t realise that this was only just over 2 hours, what a waste of a credit , two more parts. Why weren’t they put together!

A third of a good story for one whole credit.

Having read the first two Maggie Adair books I wanted to know what happened next. So, although this was only the first 2 hours of the 3rd book in the series I decided to get it.

Not a lot happens in this first ‘chapter’, I’m hoping that more happens in the next one. It seemed to be a repetition, tying up a few loose ends from the last book and getting everyone back to school. The three books that encompass ‘Lessons’ should be combined into one, and I have no idea why they haven’t been!!

Maggies family are very annoying in that they really want her to stay with Stan in Glasgow. Can’t they see he was a waster, didn’t allow her to be herself and didn’t make her happy?! I wouldn’t be surprised if the sister ended up with him, if they haven’t been there already.

The narrator was excellent and told the story very well.

Three parts makes it too expensive.

Had to use up three credits to listen to one book. Frustrating. Each part is actually quite short and, whilst the story was OK, it wasn't worth three credits.

Dull

I found the whole thing dull and uninteresting. Not a lot of real story and very little happens.
