Lady justice or a moral dilemma

I enjoyed this book. It was very thought provoking, as well as funny. The characters are so much fun, I can't imagine another character (or author) making you think about moral dilemmas such as life and death one moment and then bust out laughing the next.
68 year old rookie cop Walt Williams has a big choice on his hands when he goes up against a doctor of death. It seems someone in his city is helping the dying to go out at a time of there choosing and with dignity, the only problem is assisted suicide is against the law and it is Walt and his partner Ox's job to catch him. When an undercover sting, where yes you guessed it Walt get to have fun dressing up, goes wrong things get complicated as it sparks a string of copy cat murders, where the victims are all elderly. It's a good job Walt knows some seniors up to the task of going under cover, He just has to make sure that it doesn't cost them there lives, as he has the unfortunate job of being all of there end of life advocates.
I like the narrator. Although I am not to sure of his singing voice but don't let that put you off it isn't much or for to long.

Justice and Death

Any additional comments?

I received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this book. It portrayed the good aspects and bad aspects of euthanasia and allows you to contemplate your own opinions without forcing an opinion down your throat.
The way this novel was written, it allowed you to read this novel without having read the first five books in the Lady Justice series; having not read the previous novels, I understood the plot and the characters easily.

"An apple a day keeps the scumbag at bay"

Any additional comments?

A further delightful peek into the adventures and life musings of the sixty-eight years old cop, Walt Williams as performed by the excellent George Kuch. Mr.Kuch truly becomes the often put upon but very intrepid seeker after justice, whose undercover work this time sees him made up to appear as a terminal cancer patient in the quest to discover who is killing patients at the tail end of their lives. It might sound depressing, but with the marvellous sense of humour of the author, and therefore of Walt himself, and with the other gloriously characterised friends, it is never that - although it can be very thought provokng. As well as revisiting Walt's partner, Ox, his wife, Maggie and the other folks, this book also takes another look at the sad failure of Lady Justice in the big business pharmaceutical ploys of the previous book.

Completely standalone, each of the Lady Justice stories so far have been full of fun, wit and wisdom. George Kuch is Walt, the old timer but relatively new cop with all of his story telling brilliance mixed in with personal anecdotes, prejudices and humour. Another absolutely unmissable book.
