Summary

Royal Treatment

Aaron “King” Arthur dedicated his life to the Kings of Men MC. He created a brotherhood and promised a safe haven for his club brothers. When one of his men comes to King with news that the feds are planting an undercover agent in the club, King decides to play a game of chicken with their little rat. King pushes at the agent’s personal boundaries, using sex as a carefully honed weapon, but doesn’t expect the federal agent to respond so eagerly.

Tool for the Men in Blue

Dallas Mickelson spent so many years undercover with motorcycle clubs that he’s starting to lose his real identity. When he’s sent to pose as a prospect by the name of Austin Smith in the Kings of Men MC, he doesn’t expect to enjoy the thrill of being one of the boys. The infamous King isn’t what Dallas imagines, and he makes Dallas’s body react in ways he’s never felt before.

Deadly Games Become More

King has his own set of problems outside of this unpredictable fed, from past secrets coming to light, to his 40th birthday quickly approaching. The last thing he needs is to feel emotions he’s never experienced before, especially for someone who could bring down the illegal empire he’s worked so hard to build. Dallas has a job he’s expected to finish, but he’s not so sure he wants to do it anymore, and the decisions he makes can shape everyone’s future - for better or worse.

Entertaining

I found this a good story. Aaron (King) spent his life looking after others. When one of his brothers comes and tells him the feds are planning on sneaking in an agent King decides to have a little fun with him. The trouble starts when King is attracted to the agent Dallas.

Dallas is burned out. He expects this job to be an easy in and done but when he gets this attraction to King things change. This is more romance then mc overall. A sort of mix of emotion and sort of funny to have these two strong men behaving so. I enjoyed the story. I really enjoyed when the two are faced with Dallas's relatives. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and I found maybe Andrew Ladd either has too growly a voice or he tried too hard to sound like a mc and it took away a little for me. Overall I think a person should listen to a sample of the book and if they don't feel distracted as I did the story is entertaining.

Somehow it was romantic!

I really like that they get together but I felt like there was no reason for it. They were fighting it but doing it at the same time. They want to spend their lives together but they don’t like each other. But now they do like each other but they’re not enough. Their relationship is confusing and I felt it could be flushed out a lot more. It’s a long book because of the graphic details about the kissing.
It took till well over the halfway point before I could tell the difference between the characters voices.
But overall I did like the story I just felt it could be more flushed out.

When Federal agent meets biker, sparks fly...

ATF Agent Dallas goes undercover with the Kings of Men MC and gets more than he bargained for with the President of the Club, Aaron aka “King.” King is tipped off from the start and knows he has a plant in his club, but is attracted to Dallas all the same… ditto for Dallas, which makes everything that transpires between them all the more interesting. The stakes are high as opposites attract, deadly even, and very hot. As this is Book 6 in a series, there are quite a few characters that appear from the previous books, and the Club is like one big dysfunctional family. Dallas has a choice to make about which side of the Law he wants to be on, and whether King could be his forever guy. There is not a dull moment in over 12 hours of audio, and the narration by Andrew Ladd is very entertaining!

Finally the great King gets a story!

Not my favourite narrator, but not enough to ruin the story.

It is so good to finally get King's story after watching others in his club get their happily ever afters. The sexual tension between King and Dallas is so delicious.

Surprising family drama emerges with a visit from some chars from the Killough company who also have their own book. I love the crossovers and cameos that remind you just how rich this world is.

Undertaker is still very much one of my very favourite psychopaths and it's sweet to see him with Lee.

Lots of hot sex, bikes and cops

The Kings, a motorcycle club run by Aaron (King) Arthur, along with his fellow men and his 2 children, not that they knew they were Kings kids.

Dallas Mickleson, undercover FED using the name Austin Smith. Years of being undercover had left him needing a family, but not a regular family, he has that. He never felt he belonged either as a cop or a FED.

What a great book, loved the dynamics between the two main characters. The main outcome was not expected, but I won't spoil it for you, you need to read the book yourself.

It has bikers, fights, grown-up children, prostitutes, cops, and lots of hot sex, what's not to like.

King Arthur for the win

Story: King's turn to fall! The story was a treat! Dallas was an absolutely perfect fit for the MC's president. I loved how the authors shaped the story and how the emotions developed between the guys!

Narration: The voice was really intense and while fitting the characters, I found myself needing breaks at times. The performance was good though, just not used to such gruff delivery.
