The way. The way. THEE WAY I LOVED this book. I am a serious sucker for second chance. The ache, regret and heartbreak over losing something you had…the longing and questioning if you’ll ever get your love back…the passion and emotions…the epic groveling required to show you deserve another chance. Oh, I just eat this stuff up.
Dominic’s ambition and tenacity afforded him everything he desired in life. He was now a man who wanted for nothing. But, he didn’t appreciate all that he had. I definitely did not blame Alessandra for choosing herself. You can only allow yourself to be taken for granted for so long. I could feel her heart breaking from this impossibly hard decision.

The “it’s always been you” vibes were intensely palpable. If there was anything I had zero doubt about it’s that this man loved his wife. He saw no one else but her. His heart knew no one else but her no if, ands or buts about it. Dominic had all the right words to make you melt and set you on fire all at once. I was swooning left and right. Not only that but he put action behind it so Àle knew he wasn’t just all talk. He would do anything and everything but give her up. He made himself vulnerable in a way he hadn’t in a long time and it was irresistible. The flashbacks were interwoven perfectly. I loved how they that gave us peeks at how their love story begin.

I loved that Alessandra stood firm and made him Dominic work for it. It wasn’t always easy with the history these two had. Her love for him was undeniable and anyone could see it and feel it but she had to love herself more. While her struggle at being seen as just a trophy wife was one I couldn’t relate to, I could definitely empathize with. Everyone deserves to be seen as their own person regardless of who they’re with. So watching her achievements as an individual and seeing her pursue things that she didn’t think was a possibility made my heart so happy.
The journey Dominic and Alessandra went through to find their way back to each other a second time was an unexpected one but it helped their relationship in ways they could’ve never imagined. That’s the beauty in a second chance story, it’s the fight, the sacrifice, the willing to do any and everything to win your love back but using the knowledge gained and lessons learned to make things even better the second time around. With King of Greed, Ana Huang gave me every single thing I could ask for in a second chance and then some.
The audio…my goodness the duet performance by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Vaquez was simply per-fec-tion!

My favourite Ana book!
This might be my favourite Ana book that I've read/listened to! The angst, the feelings, the gut-wrenching hurt I felt right down in my core. This is what I live for in my books. I was waiting in anticipation for Dom's and Alessandra's book and it delivered. The duet narration by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Vasquez was impeccable! I enjoyed every second of listening to this story and I could not get enough of it! Simply amazing!

Emotional Romantic Roller Coaster
This was an emotional second chance romance, full of chemistry, angst, emotions and learning how to fall back in love. This was so full of passion and heartache. I loved that we got both sides of this, and that Dom knew his mistakes and was earnest in winning her back.

So good
The narrators did an awesome job. I enjoyed the portrayal of the characters and the storyline. Everything about this story captured my attention and imagination and I could not put it down. The author has a way with words that leads to an attention grabbing story. I’m definitely looking for more.
