An enjoyable listen! Cracking chemistry, and warmth between the leads. Expertly narrated, by Angela Dawe.

This is the second book I've listened to by this author and will look forward to reading more of their work. So descriptive, so sensual and so much care around sensitive topics (trauma, body image/ weight).

The intimate scenes were meaningful, incredibly well written, and felt truthful and in alignment with the character's personalities. What a ride! ❤️

Hooked Chapter to Chapter

I really liked this book makes a nice change from my usual reading material (business books). The narrator does a great job of bringing the Characters to life in a romantic and very sexy way. I choose the book after reading another one which she worked on. The story was nice and kept me hooked from chapter to chapter i would have given the story higher stars it there was a few unpredictable moments in the novel that being said i loved listening to this book.

Enjoyable story!

Pretty good story and decent narration. I enjoyed this audiobook. However, did anyone pick up on the erroneous use of Abby’s name at 10 hours 16 mins?

Fantastic Story!

I would recommend this book to any romantic! These characters are flawed and realistic because of it, the plot goes how you would pretty much expect however, these characters are truly three dimensional and felt like they are real. The narrator gave such a fantastic performance too, very talented as well as being good at accents and different voices.

Not just for show

I love Jae’s work and it gets better and better but what I really liked about this was the characters especially that they reflected really life body sizes. I could relate to Lana who was not a size 6 who ate chocolate and despised salad. Yes the story was predictable but not so much to put me off. Also I loved Lana really sexy voice that’s the best thing about Audio books :)

Charming, relatable, relaxing

I listened to this after having listened to the book about Steph and Rae, which takes place after this one—I like them both, and in the main the character continuities work, but it bothered me a little that the narrator had chosen to do slightly different voices for some of them (most glaringly, Claire’s mother). I like listening to Angela Dawe, and she does a brilliant job in the main, but sometimes she gets her names mixed up—sometimes, Claire is suddenly Abby, for example, and that just throws me out of the story completely.

As for the story, it’s a charming and very dependable romance. Great for a relaxing Sunday listen.
