Thoughtful and challenging response to the gospel sermon on the mount

At times academic and well argued, rather than personal and passionate, this priest asks us to think hard about what Jesus asks from us at a social and societal level. In the tradition of an Old Testament prophet, Richard Rohr asks us to tear down existing structures and ways of thinking if they stand in the way of our Christian calling. At times I struggled to engage with the themes because they are so large and hard to put into daily action. But they should not be ignored, we each need to consider how we respond to these callings if we really want to progress in our faith.
