About this listen

Save the fae, save the world

In the magic lands of the Fae Wild, the Goblin King's virility is the lifeblood of the realm. But an insidious curse has put the kingdom on the precipice of a population panic.

Enter Thomas Stone: architect, engineer, and unknowing half-blood heir to the goblin throne.

Whisked away to a world where baby-making makes the world go round, Thomas finds himself in a pickle thicker than goblin stew. Birth rates are dropping faster than a fairy on a bad flight path, and it’s up to Thomas to save the fae from themselves.

With the help of a manic pixie—er, goblin dream girl, and an adorable pink-haired assassin, Thomas has to rally the troops, charm the locals, and kickstart a baby boom like no other.

Let the breeding bonanza begin!

Everything i've been looking for in this genre

Quicky review is this was a fun, light hearted, faction building, fantasy harem with the best erotica i have experienced.

This book also contains what i have found to be rare in this genre, the Main Character Thomas Stone, isn't some 18 year old quirky, quipfilled, overpowered, mess of an annoying idiot who falls ass backwards into being perfect. Thomas is a smart, calculating, charming, grown man, and he carries himself like it. I absolutely recommend this to everyone who has tried multiple harem fantasy erotica stories and kept finding themselves dissapointed, this was the breathe of fresh air that i had been looking for.

My only real complaint was at times the info dumping was too much. Mainly the first time, afterwards it gets a lot better. But the first time was too much. Now im gunna gush about how much i loved this book.

Narration was great, very well done. Personally i normally listen to audiobooks at 1.2x speed but for this book i'd recommend listening at 1.5x speed, it gives the narration that extra oomf in terms of pacing delivery. Other than that very clear, easy to follow, and enjoyable listen.

The story and its resolution i won't go into details for spoilers but i will say i was surprised how much i liked it. Definetly left me wanting to see more of this Fae world.

Moving onto the Erotica side, for some i could see it being too much. Personally it was the perfect balance for me, i looked back at the chapters that had adult scenes, and a quick memory guess of those chapter contents id confidently say around 10% of the book is SPICY. Good spice too. I can't explain why exactly i feel this way, but so many other series i found the sex scenes to either be awkward in its decriptors or uncomfortable in the scenario and more forced. Here, every instance felt natural for the story being told. It worked perfectly.

Characters! the goblins were a lot of fun. Its clear a lot of thought has gone into, to the best of my knowledge, a unique take on the goblin race. Emily was a blast from the start, a ball of fun lighthearted energy. Her and Lulu were the perfect pairing for the start of the Thomas's harem. The other races we do see, were intriguing enough to keep me excited for later books, but this book is focused on the goblins and again, done wonderfully.

My recommendation if you are still unsure. 7 Chapters. Finish 7 chapters and you will get a good idea of what this book has to offer overall. If you aren't feeling it by then, id get a refund and try another book. But if your looking for Fantasy Harem where the main character doesnt make you cringe and the love interests and side characters are all entertaining, i personally haven't experienced any better in this genre than this. 10/10 it was a fun ride and i will be here again when the next releases.
