About this listen
One night. One bet. And now my world is turned upside down.
Apparently, you're not supposed to fall for the rebound guy.
Guess I didn't get the memo, because the first man I jump into bed with happens to be the one who sparks a flame inside my heart.
With his rakish charm and Irish accent, he steals my sanity and inhibitions. It's not long before I'm dreaming of something more than a quick fling. The problem?
Griffin Gallagher happens to be the one man my brother despises.

Instant Love!
This book was an instant attraction which is different than what I normally read, that being said.. I am hooked! I loved every second of it. The heat, the passion, the love. It was all so consuming!
Griffin Gallagher has had a tough time, things aren't perfect and running away seems like a good idea, but he isn't going to be accepted without some type of clap back. What he doesn't expect is the connection.
Raelyn Brooks is nursing a broken heart, her friends tell her it's time to move on but that's easier said than done.. or is it?
The connection between these two is fast and hard, but sweet and perfect all the same. I loved them together and loved feeling their connection and how it just worked for them. They completed each other in every sense, but her brother could be an issue for them. Things aren't perfect but their connection is strong.
I loved this book so hard! I loved Griffin and his Irish self. I loved the way he was with Rae and the openness and honesty between the two of them. It was everything.
These two narrators knocked it out of the park with this book! The emotions, the heat, the love.. I felt it in their voices. And is there anything Gregory Salinas can't do? I mean seriously his Irish accent was SPOT ON! My goodness I love him! Lessa Lamb was a new narrator for me, but she did spectacular, the exclamations, and the different voices for the friends, she brought them to life in her own way.

Loved the narration, loved the story
Instant Heat was my 1st AK MacBride novel and I loved it. This romance was sweet yet hott with a bit of family drama included and I was hooked from beginning to end. There was no denying the instant, intense chemistry between Rae and Griffin and the author did a great job of making them both likable and relatable and bringing out the emotions in the story. This was a short quick read but there was a lot in the story and I absolutely loved it.
The audiobook was narrated by Gregory Salinas and Lessa Lamb and they were perfect for these characters. They brought out the characters personality and Gregory's accent was amazing. Their voices blended well together and the narration was clear and understandable. These two brought the story to life and it was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Totally delightful listen
Griff and Rae were perfectly matched characters. One on the rebound and one despised by a family member. Their relationship was like Insta-love with a side of sweetness and off the charts chemistry. What better than a hot fireman after all. The audio version had the best narration, the characters coming to life with their words. Gregory was perfect as Griff with his Irish accent and Lessa was quirky as she portrayed Rae. Totally delightful listen.

More intense than I was expecting... <3
"Instant Heat" is the kind of story that grabs you by the hand and never lets you go until the end. It's a quick read, but don't let that fool you! A lot happens in these four hours! The narrators, Gregory and Lessa, are new to me, but my goodness, that accent! WOW! They added another dimension to the story, and I'm so excited for the next installment.

Instant Heat of Fire between two hearts
We start with a troubled soul of a firefighter, Griffin who has obviously endured something he is running from. He runs mack dab into a woman; Raelyn; who just might be the one. Like his Irish Da’ who fell for his mom upon first sight might it happen to Griffin too?
Lots to keep you going in this audiobook, interesting and realistic story line by AK Mcbride who is new to me. Looks like I might need books on the other characters in this audiobook. Perhaps Rae’s brother and her one girlfriend?
Then the narration, gotta love the Irish ☘️ swoon is what I did while listening to Gregory Salinas. Lessa Lamb fits Rae’s spunky attitude and is great in her performance as well.
Wonderful easy flowing book, with a little touch of angst that fires up the story. Definitely will recommend.

Sweet and fun
This is a fun, short romance about a chance meeting that leads to love. There's a forbidden element in it as Rae's brother, Thatch, really hates Griffin because Griffin gets the promotion that he wanted. There is a heck of a lot of chemistry and it was a fun listen. I received an early copy of the audiobook and I really enjoyed listening to Lessa Lamb and Gregory Salinas. Griffin is Irish and the author integrated the Irish speech patterns in this book; I recently read a book that did this and it was jarring but listening to Gregory Salinas narrate it made it really easy to listen to! And Lessa Lamb has such a beautiful voice with a fantastic ability to modulate her voice for emotion. Both of them do. So overall, I really liked the book and audiobook. I just wish that Thatch wasn't so immature! For such a short fun story, Thatch's immaturity felt like it went on a bit too long.

Good Listen
Rae approached Griff on a bet from her friends. He went along because he was attracted to her. One night leads to so much more for them and family drama.

BOOK 🌟🌟🌟🌟
AUDIO 🌟🌟🌟🌟
First time reading this author and I loved the book from start to finish.
I really enjoyed the audio of both characters voices.
I loved the instant connection they shared and how their story came about. I loved the drama but that it wasn’t overboard and resolved quickly.

Loved it!
This is my first book by AK MacBride and I’m an instant fan!
Griffins story is sad. He’s filled with guilt that doesn’t belong to him, but when he meets Rae, things don’t seem so dark. The guilt eases. And Rae becomes the fresh air he’s so desperately needs.
After Rae’s last relationship, she’s hesitant to get seriously involved with anyone. But then she meets Griffin and she can’t help but fall and fall quickly. Griffin shows her it’s okay to fall fast and hard. The chemistry between the two is 🔥 from the start.
I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the series!
Lessa & Gregory did a fantastic job narrating!
