Summary

It's Christmas in Half-Moon Hollow and newly turned vampire Iris Scanlon-Calix wants to make Gigi's first visit home from college as normal and special as possible. It's taken months for Iris to work up the nerve to spend time around her baby sister after her vampire transition, so she enlists help from Jane Jameson and Company to keep her blood-thirst under control and assure Gigi's safety. Gigi, on the other hand, has problems of her own, including the demise of her relationship with high school sweetheart, Ben, and a looming job interview with Ophelia Lambert, the scariest potential employer in the Hollow. And then there's the small matter of the handsome, frustrating vampire who keeps appearing in Gigi's peripheral vision, then disappearing before she can talk to him. Can the Scanlon sisters negotiate romantic problems, vampire politics, and Christmas cookie disasters and enjoy a relatively normal holiday?

A bit short

It's good. But it also felt like just half of an audio book. Was this originally a novella?

A nice little tale to get you in the holiday mood

Would you try another book written by Molly Harper or narrated by Amanda Ronconi?

This was the first book I had come across written by Molly Harper. I enjoyed the fact that a) it was free, b) festive (it's December for me at this moment) and c) the characters were built in a way you come relate to even though there were Vampires and Werewolves. There was a good amount of detail about the build up to having a normal American family Christmas.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Amanda Ronconi?

I wasn't keen on the narrater to start with as she had an Amercian accent (I realise it was the right choice for an Amercian story.) In the end I was able to very easily ignore the accent and enjoy the characterisations and the different voices which were easy to tell apart.

Any additional comments?

The only annoying part was the repeating of the silent night, undead relatives part at the start of every chapter!

I love the way Amanda Ronconi narrates the story, so i can visualise it better in the audio version than i would of been able to in print

What was one of the most memorable moments of I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas?

I loved the job interview gigi had with Ophelia lambert

Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favourite?

iris scanlin.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the protective nature all the vampires have towards gigi is very touching and her friendship with jamie

Any additional comments?

Disappointing

Not really worth the credit, no real story to it. Could have been condensed to first chapter of next book as it's really just giving background info. Very disappointing

Amazing and funny story

If you could sum up I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas in three words, what would they be?

Christmas-spirit, Love & Family

What did you like best about this story?

The parts were everything is falling apart - it's just amazing that so much can happen to a single person. Besides that is still funny to hear the story from the "human" side - and it keeps the line - that I've seen in the other books in the series.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

She is so good at this, - accents and changing voice to the different persons in the book.. its so nice to listen to her.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

YES! I've some serious attacks of laughing.. It was so funny at some places, and the strange stalker is interesting. I was totally hooked on this book..

Any additional comments?

I think it will be played again very soon :D
