twists and turns
not a typical crime drama and I loved the narrator. I will be looking out for more books by Rick Mofina

Wow. What a plot.
First Rick Mofina read. What a plot. Really enjoyed it. Just not the attempted female voices - narrator got on my nerves with this.

Definitely worth a listen
I have to say I thought I was going to give up on this at the beginning but in all honesty it turned out to be a great story, must have been because I finished it in 3 days

Time ran out
I booked this on the plus catalogue available until 6th July. I assumed it would be ok until midnight on 6th. But no. With an hour and a bit to go I tried to get back on about 7pm to finish the book and it was no longer available. Disappointed to say the least. 😡

Terrific

Slow to start but gripping throughout the rest.
I was one of the people trying this for free that ran out of time, with 1.5 hours left to listen to I had to buy it, and I’m not sad about it.
A great book that had my on the edge of my seat, well narrated though at times a little difficult to know who was speaking without the context.
Overall a great listen and I’m off to hunt for the next in the series.

Great!
A pacy, twisty thriller.
Complex storyline and character building with a plot that keeps you hooked from the start.
A first it definitely does seem like a barrage of information with loads of characters, but once into the swing it really is a rollercoaster ride.
The writing is definitely a cut above some other similar books in the genre too.
Great narration on the whole too (some of the female/ child voices were not great…) but was rich and emotive the rest of the time.
Will definitely listen to the rest of the series!
