More fun with Nath

Book 5 carries straight on from Book 4, with Nath forced to choose between saving one pair of friends or another. He somehow finds a way to (almost) do both and emerges unscathed, with more conflict against the clerics of Barnabus to follow. Nath eventually succumbs to his half-dragon body's need to "regenerate" (i.e. grow more scaly) and we get a surprising 20+ year jump in timeline while he sleeps.
The action was thick and fast, albeit with Nath out of it for a fair chunk. Also, strangely we lose the 1st person perspective when he awakes - whether this was deliberate in order to distance Nath from his slightly immature inner-monologue, or some other stylistic choice is not clear. It is a bit of a shame to lose this aspect, but I will cope.
Another fun adventure with more serious conflict to come in book 6.
